What a great way to wind up the year in Art Lit! The production piece for the Wang Yani course was so easy and so much fun! The children all had a great time because there was so much freedom. They each worked on three practice sheets to get to know the brushes and experiment with stroke sizes. Most of them caught on. Some couldn't let go of making all the sizes match. It didn't matter. We continued to let them know to just try it out - try angles, different pressure, different amounts of ink from the ink cake on the brushes.
We let them know that if they are in Savannah's class they'd have us for Art Lit again next year! They all cheered. These two pieces were by Tom and me. We both thoroughly enjoyed this course.
